Child Dental Benefit Schedule: Continues in 2017

There was great news from the federal government recently, deciding to continue funding the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) program throughout 2017.

Benefits cover the same range of services as they did previously, including check up and cleans, x-rays, fissure sealing, fillings, root canal and extractions.

Main eligibility criteria includes:

• aged between 2 and 17 years on any one day of the calendar year
• getting certain government benefits for at least part of the calendar year
• eligible for Medicare
