Areas of Interest
Dr Manikesh provides general dental care, with a particular interest in:
- General dentistry
- Root canal treatment
- Crowns and bridges
- Aesthetic and complex fillings
- Dental extractions
- Preventative dental care
Manikesh believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s needs, providing education and working together with them to achieve healthy smiles.
A Thoughtful & Collaborative Approach
Manikesh chose to practise in Shellharbour for its beautiful coastal setting and close-knit community. He values the opportunity to get to know his patients, build trusting relationships and become a part of their oral health journey. (He also notes that his favourite fast bowler grew up in the area, which may have had something to do with his decision!)
Whether providing routine preventive care or more complex treatment, he takes a thorough and collaborative approach, ensuring patients feel informed and involved at every step.
Manikesh’s tip: Brushing and flossing twice daily are important habits, but also rinse your mouth with water after meals to help clear away food and acids. Eat, swish, repeat!
Community Involvement
With a background in public health dentistry, community outreach has been an important part of Manikesh’s professional journey. He has provided dental care and oral health education to underserved communities across several remote areas of India, strengthening his commitment to making oral healthcare accessible to everyone.
Life Beyond Dentistry
When he’s not caring for patients, Manikesh enjoys photography, hiking, reading and listening to an arguably excessive amount of metal music. He is always up for discovering a new trail, an interesting story or a great album.
