Dr. Monica Monir provides a wide range of dental care at Pacific Smiles Dental Rockdale, with expertise spanning orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, Invisalign, periodontics, wisdom teeth removal, veneers, restorative dentistry, paediatric dentistry, and general family care. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University and is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association, having also obtained their Code of Ethics certificate.
Continuous Growth and Advanced Training
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Monica is always attending courses to upgrade and expand her skillset. She has completed additional training in clear aligner therapy, including Invisalign, as well as crown and veneer work and the removal of impacted wisdom teeth. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special passion for restorative and paediatric care, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.
Practice Background
Before joining Pacific Smiles Dental Rockdale, Dr. Monica worked across Sydney and Far North Queensland, including The Sutherland Shire, Sans Souci, Wollongong, and Cairns. During this time, she gained valuable experience in specialty clinics such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck cancer clinics, and special needs dentistry. She also regularly treated anxious patients under General Anaesthetic, building a reputation for her gentle and compassionate approach.
Community Focus
Dr. Monica strongly believes in research-driven, community-focused dentistry. She has completed a systematic review on fluoride intervention and used her findings to design and implement an Oral Hygiene Education program for schools – giving back to the community while educating the next generation on healthy oral care habits.

Outside of dentistry, you might find Dr. Monica swimming or reading a book at the beach. She is also passionate about ongoing research and education that can further support her patients.
