Dr Neha Pruthi is a highly qualified and compassionate dental practitioner with over 14 years of diverse experience in clinical dentistry, research, and education. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) specialising in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology, and is currently completing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oral Medicine and Pathology at the University of Melbourne. Her dedication to ongoing learning ensures she stays up to date with the latest innovations in dental care.
Dr Neha’s clinical interests span a wide range of services including general and preventive dentistry, restorative treatments, complex endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, Invisalign, and functional orthodontics. She has a strong focus on oral medicine and pathology, especially the early diagnosis and management of potentially malignant oral disorders.
Dr Neha is known for her empathetic and personalised approach to patient care. She takes the time to understand her patients’ goals and concerns and empowers them through clear communication and education. Her gentle and supportive manner makes her especially skilled at caring for patients with dental anxiety and complex needs.
Dr Neha has earned numerous awards for her academic and research contributions, including the Rowden and White Scholarship for Best Researcher and multiple grants from the Australian Dental Research Foundation. She is a published researcher with international conference experience and contributes actively to the scientific community through her ongoing PhD studies.
Dr Neha has volunteered in aged care facilities, providing essential oral health education and support. She is passionate about improving oral health outcomes across diverse populations and enjoys giving back to the community.
Dr Neha is a member of several respected dental bodies including the Australian Dental Association, the European Oral Medicine Academy, and the International Association for Dental Research.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Neha enjoys sketching, photography, swimming, and yoga. She loves to travel and explore different cultures, drawing creative inspiration from her experiences.
