Dr Achini Kaluarachchi is a caring and patient‑focused general dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental Preston. With experience across both Sri Lanka and Australia, she is committed to providing gentle, high‑quality dental care and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dr Kaluarachchi practises across all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong focus on preventive care, patient comfort, and long‑term oral health.
Dr Kaluarachchi completed her dental studies at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, graduating with an Honours degree in Dentistry. She has over seven years of experience practising dentistry, including work in private practice, public hospitals, community dental services, and private clinics across Sri Lanka and Melbourne.
Her diverse clinical experience has enabled her to care for patients from a wide range of backgrounds and with varying oral health needs, helping her develop a well‑rounded and patient‑centred approach to dentistry.
Dr Kaluarachchi graduated with an Honours degree in Dentistry, recognising her academic achievement and commitment to excellence.
Dr Kaluarachchi has participated in community dental outreach programs and oral health education initiatives in Sri Lanka. She currently works within community dental services, supporting patients from diverse backgrounds and promoting preventive oral health care.
Dr Kaluarachchi enjoys working in Preston and values the opportunity to care for a diverse community while building meaningful, long‑term relationships with her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Achini enjoys travelling, reading, and spending quality time with her family. As a mother of three, she especially enjoys making memories with her children and exploring new places together.
Dr Kaluarachchi is a keen baker who particularly enjoys baking cakes and played competitive table tennis during her school years.
