With 8 years of clinical experience, Dr Pooja Chavda is a skilled and compassionate dentist who enjoys caring for patients in the Point Cook community. Known for her calm manner and patient‑first approach, Dr Chavda focuses on helping people feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental care journey.
Dr Chavda has extensive experience in complex wisdom tooth extractions, crowns, endodontic treatment, upper and lower molar care, and direct composite veneers. She enjoys providing precise, high‑quality dentistry and takes pride in managing more challenging procedures with care and attention to detail.
Dr Chavda graduated from Darshan Dental College in Udaipur, India, in 2011. From 2011 to 2015, she worked overseas in association with a Pedodontist, gaining strong clinical foundations across a wide range of treatments. She migrated to Melbourne in 2015 and has been practising in Australia since 2022. Dr Chavda has been a valued member of the Pacific Smiles Dental team at Point Cook since 2022.
“I love the community here, and it’s a bonus that I work close to home. Point Cook is such a warm, family‑oriented area, and I feel genuinely connected to the people I care for.”
Dr Chavda consults in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients from diverse backgrounds.
Outside the clinic, Dr Chavda enjoys listening to Bollywood music, dancing, and spending quality time with her 18‑month‑old son.
Don’t let the gentle chairside manner fool you — Dr Chavda has an adventurous streak. She has been skydiving and snorkelled in the open ocean, proving she’s just as comfortable chasing adrenaline as she is delivering precise dental care.
“Helping people feel genuinely comfortable and confident in their smile. I love getting to know families, watching kids grow up, and being a trusted part of their health journey. Those relationships are what make this work so meaningful.”
“Most people brush twice daily, but how you brush matters just as much. Use a soft‑bristled brush with gentle circular motions, take your time, and make sure you reach the gumline — that’s where plaque likes to hide. And don’t skip flossing. It’s not about perfection, it’s about consistency.”
Book your appointment with Dr Pooja Chavda at Pacific Smiles Dental Point Cook today and enjoy relaxed, friendly dental care from a dentist who truly values patient comfort and connection.
