Dr. Tash Abeykoon provides thoughtful, patient-centred care at Pacific Smiles Dental Mill Park, where she has been part of the community for over five years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University in 2023. Her special interests include endodontics, periodontics, restorative dentistry, children’s dentistry, and caring for anxious patients with the use of nitrous oxide.
Professional Achievements and Training
Dr. Abeykoon’s commitment to excellence has been recognised throughout her career. She was selected as a Dental Officer at the Royal Dental Hospital Graduate Program, completing internships in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry departments. She also works at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne’s emergency department, treating patients experiencing acute dental pain, trauma, and swellings. During her studies, Dr. Abeykoon was awarded High Distinction at La Trobe University and became a Golden Key International Honour Society recipient for three consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022).

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Abeykoon enjoys snorkelling and being in the ocean during summertime. She also loves Pilates and considers herself a big foodie – with a particular love for Mexican food. Fun fact: she is left-handed!
