Dr Aisling Cromie is an experienced and friendly general dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental Melbourne. She is passionate about providing gentle, patient‑centred care and has a particular interest in caring for children and helping anxious patients feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits.
Dr Cromie practises across general dentistry, with special interests in Children’s Dentistry and supporting patients who experience dental anxiety.
Dr Cromie completed her dental studies at Queen’s University Belfast and spent the first nine years of her career working in family dental practices across Scotland and Ireland. She relocated to Melbourne in 2018 and has been caring for patients in the Melbourne CBD ever since.
Dr Cromie loves practising in the heart of Melbourne and enjoys the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Having started her Australian dental career in Bourke Street, she values the opportunity to care for a diverse patient community in a dynamic city environment.
Dr Cromie has volunteered internationally, spending time in Kenya working in a hospital and helping to build a school, as well as providing dental care in refugee camps in Uganda. She has also volunteered with Special Olympics Ireland, providing oral health education and advice to athletes.
Outside of dentistry, Aisling loves travelling and exploring new places around the world. She also enjoys baking and particularly likes the challenge of decorating cakes.
When she was 12 years old, Dr Cromie won $2,000 worth of carpet — not necessarily every child’s dream prize!
