Dr Deepa Prasai is a caring and patient‑focused general dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental Manuka. She is passionate about providing gentle, high‑quality dental care and helping patients achieve healthy smiles in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Dr Prasai practises across all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong focus on Preventive Dentistry, Patient Education, and long‑term oral health.
Dr Prasai completed her dental studies at Kathmandu University, Nobel Medical College in Nepal. She initially practised as a dentist in private practice before moving to Australia, where she spent more than five years working as a dental assistant and receptionist. This experience provided her with a well‑rounded understanding of the Australian dental environment and strengthened her commitment to delivering patient‑centred care.
Dr Prasai successfully completed the Australian Dental Council assessment process and obtained registration with the Dental Board of Australia. She has also completed both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Dr Prasai has participated in oral health awareness campaigns and community outreach programs in Nepal, promoting preventive dental care and oral health education. She is passionate about supporting community health initiatives that improve awareness and wellbeing.
Dr Prasai enjoys working in Manuka and values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while providing personalised, high‑quality dental care within a welcoming community.
Outside of dentistry, Deepa enjoys gardening, cooking, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends. She enjoys learning new skills and finds gardening a relaxing way to unwind.
Dr Prasai is surprisingly skilled at mimicry and enjoys making family and friends laugh by imitating different voices and personalities.
