Dr Alam completed his dental qualifications at Griffith University and also holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Newcastle. During his dental training, he gained extensive clinical experience through hospital and community placements, including Queensland Health rotations across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, treating patients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of oral health needs.
Since graduating, he has worked in both metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, developing a broad, adaptable approach to patient care and a strong focus on making dental treatment accessible and comfortable for all patients.

Dr Alam was awarded the Academic Excellence Award during his dental studies at Griffith University, recognising his outstanding academic performance.
Community Involvement
Dr Alam has volunteered internationally in rural and disadvantaged communities, providing dental care to people with limited access to oral health services. During dental school, he also volunteered with the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA), supporting community health initiatives in Brisbane.
