Dr Ren Sun is a passionate and accomplished general dentist with over two decades of clinical experience. Graduating with Honours from the prestigious University of Sydney in 1999, Dr Sun has since dedicated his career to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care with a focus on innovation, precision, and compassion.
With a keen interest in oral surgery, Dr Sun has extensive experience in the removal of impacted wisdom teeth and the surgical placement of dental implants. His commitment to excellence extends into the field of aesthetic dentistry, where he is known for creating natural, confident smiles through digital smile design and clear aligner therapy.
Dr Sun’s clinical expertise is matched by his breadth of experience across advanced treatment settings. Since 2004, he has been providing comprehensive dental care under general anaesthesia in private hospitals. He has been placing and restoring dental implants since 2007, offering Invisalign and other clear aligner treatments since 2009, and delivering surgical extractions/root canal treatments under IV sedation (sleep dentistry) in Pacific Smiles Dental Centres since 2018—ensuring a calm and comfortable experience for even the most anxious patients.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr Sun continually hones his knowledge and skills through advanced education. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (UK)—testament to his dedication to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Sun currently serves as Chief Dental Officer of Pacific Smiles Group (ASX: PSQ), where he oversees clinical standards, innovation, and professional development across our network of dental centres.
