Ankit is a registered general dentist practising at Pacific Smiles Dental Drysdale and Leopold. He has more than 12 years of experience in dentistry, providing a wide range of care including preventive, restorative, and surgical treatments. His main areas of interest are:
• Dental pain management – care for toothache and other dental discomfort.
• Management of broken or chipped teeth – restoring function and appearance with appropriate treatment options.
• Wisdom teeth care – assessment and removal of impacted or painful wisdom teeth.
• Snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) – dental appliances and options that may support patients with sleep-related breathing issues.
• Replacing missing teeth – options such as dental implants, crowns, and bridges to restore chewing and function.
• Clear aligner therapy – orthodontic treatment for tooth alignment.
Ankit completed his dental degree in 2013. He later undertook further study and academic work in oral medicine and maxillofacial radiology, published research in peer-reviewed journals, and worked as an Assistant Professor for two years.
He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Ankit registered as a dentist in Australia in 2023 and has been practising since June 2024 at Pacific Smiles Dental Drysdale and Leopold. Having previously worked in high-volume practices, he values providing careful, individualised care in a welcoming regional setting.
Fluent in English and Hindi, he is also active in community health awareness programs and has volunteered with Rotary International.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys travelling and reading.
