Dr Nikita Batra has 11 years of experience, graduating from medical school in 2013. She loves treating all her patients and improving their smiles, particularly her elderly patients. Her career background includes working with an Indigenous corporation in regional Victoria before moving to Melbourne.
Dr Nikita chose to work at Pacific Smiles Dental Doncaster East due to her passion for caring for elderly patients, getting to know them personally, and educating them on oral health. She is fluent in both English and Hindi, allowing her to communicate effectively with the centre’s diverse patient base.
Previously, Dr Nikita participated in an outreach program in India to raise awareness and screen for dental diseases. Her top tip for patients is to see a dentist every six months to maintain a healthy and happy smile and avoid more extensive treatment.
In her leisure time, Dr Nikita enjoys hiking, running, and experimenting with cooking different cuisines.
We’re delighted to share that Dr Nikita will be returning from maternity leave on Friday, 31st October 2025. She will resume her regular hours:

Fridays: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We’re very excited to have her back and look forward to welcoming her patients again. Where possible, we will notify our Doncaster East patients about her return.
