Meet Dr Dalya Alzard
With over 12 years of experience in dental practice, Dr Dalya is a compassionate and skilled dentist dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
She graduated from The University of Jordan with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and early this year, Dr Dalya received her Master in Oral Health from La Trobe University – Melbourne. Since May 2024, she has been a clinical supervisor for the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program at the University of Melbourne.
Dr Dalya’s believes that being a dentist requires a strong grasp of sound clinical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, manual dexterity and most importantly, a dedication to lifelong learning.
Dr Dalya offers a wide range of services including aesthetic, child and preventive dentistry, crowns and bridges, dentures, root canals, extractions and Invisalign. Dr Dalya is passionate about oral health research, particularly among children in unprivileged population groups.
Dr Dalya is always welcoming new and existing patients. Other than English, Dr Dalya is fluent in Arabic.
Dr Dalya’s tip for her patients to achieve a healthy smile is regular checkups to identify oral health issues early and avoid extensive treatments.
When she’s not in the clinic or supervising students, Dr Dalya enjoys working out and spending quality time with family and friends.
