Dr Pratima Adhikari is a caring and patient‑centred general dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental Corrimal. She is passionate about delivering high‑quality, personalised care and helping patients feel confident, comfortable, and informed throughout their dental journey.
Dr Adhikari practises across general dentistry, with experience in Preventive Care, Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, and Fixed Prosthodontics.
Her interests include treatment planning, preventive care, and promoting the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing.
Dr Adhikari completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Kathmandu Medical College and holds a Master of Health Science from Western Sydney University. She has also successfully completed the Australian Dental Council certification process.
She has worked as a Dental Officer and Head of Department at a rural community hospital in Nepal, where she provided essential dental care to underserved populations. This experience has shaped her patient‑focused approach and commitment to accessible, high‑quality care.
Dr Adhikari has contributed to dental research as a co‑author in a peer‑reviewed publication on post‑operative pain management. She has also authored and contributed to dental education resources and was a high‑achieving graduate of the Western Sydney University Graduate Accelerator Program.
Dr Adhikari has participated in over 50 dental camps, providing care in rural communities, and has been involved in charity initiatives supporting patients in need through community organisations.
Dr Adhikari enjoys working in Corrimal for its welcoming community and the opportunity to build meaningful, long‑term relationships with her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Pratima enjoys reading, painting, cooking, and exploring new cuisines. She also has a passion for travelling and experiencing different cultures.
Dr Adhikari once worked in a remote mountain hospital in Nepal, combining her passion for dentistry with a sense of adventure and service.
