Meet Dr Udit Bhatnagar, Pacific Smiles Dental Brookvale’s Paediatric dentist, specialising in dental care for children.
Dr Udit has over 10 years of dental experience including work at several hospitals such as Sydney Dental Hospital, Westmead Centre for Oral Health and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
After discovering his passion for helping children achieve their best oral health, he completed specialised paediatric dental training which included work at both the Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne and the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
Now back in his hometown of Sydney, Dr Udit is focused on providing his young patients with the best dental experience to set them up for long term dental health. He is known for creating a fun dental visit experience for even the most anxious child.
He has a special interest and skills in the following areas of kids dental treatments:
- Anxious, special needs or medically compromised patents
- Paediatric oral surgery
- Primary and permanent dental trauma
- Developmental dental anomalies (including “chalky teeth”, otherwise known as Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation)
- Early childhood caries (cavities)
- Interceptive orthodontic treatment
Dr Udit also provides care for his patients under general anaesthetic if required.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Udit spends a lot of his time with his family and his energetic, excitable dog.
