Education & Background
Dr Munteanu graduated from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy
in Iași, Romania in 2013, one of Europe’s respected institutions for dental education.
Lidia went on to build an impressive international career, practicing for two years in Romania before spending seven years working across France, where she refined her clinical skills across a diverse range of patients and treatments.
Areas of Special Interest
Dr Munteanu has developed skills in endodontics, periodontics, and child dentistry — bringing a comprehensive and caring approach to some of dentistry’s most delicate and important areas of treatment.
Coming to Australia
Dr Munteanu relocated to Australia in 2023 and joined the Pacific Smiles Dental Bondi Junction team, where she has been a valued member of the practice. She was drawn to the practice for its convenient location and, importantly, for the high standards of
infection prevention and control and patient care that Pacific Smiles is known for.
Languages Spoken
In addition to English, Dr Munteanu speaks Romanian and French fluently, allowing her to connect meaningfully with patients from a range of cultural backgrounds.

Dr Munteanu is a creative soul who enjoys floral arranging, painting, and sewing. She also loves exploring new places and travelling whenever the opportunity arises.
Fun Fact
Dr Munteanu welcomed a baby boy in January 2025 and is also the proud fur-ball parent of two cats. Making life at home busy, but joyful and full of love!
