With a dental career spanning several decades, Dr. Angela Pierce brings a wealth of experience and a thoughtful, personalised approach to patient care. Currently practising at Pacific Smiles Dental Bondi Junction, Angela is known for her warm chairside manner, deep clinical knowledge, and dedication to building lasting trust with every patient.
A Life Dedicated to Dental Excellence
Dr. Pierce began her dental journey at the University of Adelaide, later extending her academic pursuits to the prestigious Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. She graduated in 1978 and went on to complete both a Masters and PhD in Oral Pathology, reflecting a lifelong passion for the science behind oral health. She also successfully completed the Primary Examinations for Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS).
Throughout her distinguished career, Angela has been a strong advocate for professional standards and community service. She is a former Branch President and Federal Councillor of the Australian Dental Association and holds both honorary life membership and a Distinguished Service Award. Currently, she serves on the Dental Council of NSW and is a Deputy Director at the Professional Services Review.
A Thoughtful, Trust-Based Approach to Dentistry
Angela’s clinical interests lie in general family dentistry and oral pathology. She believes dentistry is fundamentally a relationship built on trust and takes the time to really get to know her patients, their concerns, and their goals.
Having once been a nervous dental patient herself, she understands the importance of clear, reassuring communication. She takes pride in helping patients feel informed and at ease, offering all treatment options and ensuring they’re confident in their care plan before proceeding.

Dr. Pierce joined Pacific Smiles Dental Bondi Junction in January 2024. She chose the location for its vibrant and diverse patient base, as well as its convenient setting close to home, with easy access to parking and shopping. The practice offers the ideal environment for her to focus on providing high-quality care in a welcoming, community-focused setting.
Outside the Clinic
When she’s not in the dental chair, Angela enjoys travelling with her family, watching great movies or getting immersed in a compelling TV series. A lifelong tech enthusiast, she’s also known as the go-to tech support for her adult children – and even enjoys building PCs in her spare time!
Angela is also committed to giving back through volunteer work. She has contributed her time and skills to the ADA NSW Filling the Gap dental clinic, helping provide essential care to patients in need.
