We are proud to be part of the nib First Choice dental network offering no gap dental check-ups to nib members with extras cover.
No gap dental check-ups include:
- Examination
- Scale and clean
- Fluoride treatment
- X-rays (where clinically necessary)
Claims are subject to relevant waiting periods. Annual limits and service limits apply.

A gap payment is the difference between what you are charged and how much Medicare or your health fund will give you back. Visiting a participating Pacific Smiles Dental centre means nib members with available extras cover won't have to pay any difference between the total treatment cost and what nib covers for included preventative treatments.
No Gap dental includes:
- Examination
- Scale and clean
- Fluoride treatment
- X-rays (where clinically necessary)
Contact your local Pacific Smiles Dental centre to confirm participation. Alternatively, you can use the nib Find a Provider tool to search for a centre near you and see if they offer no gap dental check-ups.
You can choose to see any Pacific Smiles Dental Practitioner that you like, but by selecting a provider within the nib First Choice network, you may receive better value. Contact your local Pacific Smiles Dental centre to confirm participation.
Relevant waiting periods, annual limits and service limits apply. The no gap offer can't be combined with other offers or government schemes and can't be exchanged for cash.
